Today we were treated to the same CNY performance as we always do every year, and I mean the same - same old lion dance performance; same old wushu performance, Chinese Orchestra performance etc. BORING.

Lucky during the performance, Xiao Hui and her friend Min Yee were sitting in front of Yuhan, and I was sitting behind him, so I entertained myself by irritating her. When we went back to class, after maths, Xiao Hui took my tissue paper. Then I took my revenge by using my Nike water bottle and sprayed her.

Jonathan took the chance to make his presence and importance know. He used his own water bottle to spray me back. Wow! How sweet! But I don't really care cos' I know that he is just trying to be funny. Trust me, in order to prevent myself from stepping into dangerous land, I would rather say that he was just trying to get the group of people to laugh.

Then, finally, Mrs. Chee stepped in and announced dismissal. When I went to put down my bags at the courtyard, guess who I met? Xiao Hui and Min Yee! I took this chance to try to clear my charges and hopefully they would be cool towards me, but Jonathan sabotaged me; he began telling everything I've said that wasn't supposed to be heard by her and instead, she blogged a post about me and Jon and to make it short, I'M DEAD.

Her blog is only for certain users, but I can tell you that I will not face a very nice day tomorrow. And I still haven't got back my tissue paper yet, and that could mean that I face a trial tomorrow. I don't really care though.

Dead-by-tomorrow,
Yong Kang.

PS: Xiao Hui if you are reading this blog, this post is typed from a stranger's type of view. I don't agree with some of the things I've typed. Hopefully you will give me a lighter sentence? Lol.

A month has almost gone. From 1 Feb 2009 onwards, Jan 2009 will be the past. But for me, it will not be the past, but something to learn for the future. I will never forget this month, even the camp, as I got to spend quality time with my best friends.

This month has gone very fast. Going back to school was a very happy thing for me, as I got to see my friends again, especially my best friends, but I did keep in touch with them over the phone and on Msn. I missed them so much...

Then came the Windows to Lit program. Although I did not express interest in Literature, it taught me a lot of things, and even widen my choice of music to the songs of the 70', 80', and 90'.
Overall, it was also very interesting and interactive.

After that, of course, was the "fun" homework that the teachers felt like giving. Included in the package was maths worksheets, revision hw, constructing sentence practise, etc. I felt lazy when I was told that my friends had finished them all in a few hours. I envied them for their working speed.

Even more memorable was the P6 St*r Camp! It taught me moral values like teamwork.. etc. Also taught me ten effective strategies to tackle homework, and how to be independant. Also, the bonding with my best friends and even my friends were fantastic. I will never forget it.

Last but not least, is the long CNY holiday and work-on-the-computer-days. After the camp, two days were dedicated to doing LEAD homework. Me and my best friend, spent a few hours on the MSN video call helping each other. It was very fun! But nearing the end, she got stomach cramp, and finally the pain overcame her. As we were friends, I helped her finish off her last assignment that she did not finish. Isn't that what friends are for?

On the first two days of CNY holidays, I went to visit my cousins, my uncles, so on and so forth. I held a party on the second day from 11.30am to 5pm. After that, my family went to eat and went to my grandfather's place, as he was alone. The reason was that my cousins and family went to Malaysia to visit and stay at their grandmother's place. When we came back, we switched on the TV to watch soccer for a while before retiring to our beds.

Anyway, to cap this blog post off, I want to express a big thank you to my best friends which have supported me for the last one year and Jan 2009.

They are : Xiao Hui*, Hazel*,Timothy*,Kee Hsien*, Chantel and Hui Ming.

Joncel, aka Teo Yong Kang.
a 6Cian and proud of it.

PS: Those with *, i won't forget you guys.

Hello! Back from my 3d 2n camp. Think it is fun? Dream on! i would give it a 6/10 as it was not
as fun and exciting as I had imagined it to be. Overall it was fun to be independant and not depending on family members. It was also a memorable experience as I spent quality time with my friends. I must thank Eka training and NYPS, though not the caterers. The food was as disgusting as stored food for a few days. Yucks! ( I am going to skip what we ate as much as possible as I don't want to relieve the horrible memories)

First Day
First day was not at all fun, even though we had an excursion to East Coast Park. I arrived at school at the normal time, and after assembly, we proceeded to the hall for briefing and meeting our coaches for the first time to form groups and make the group flag, group cheer and group name. Our coach was Coach Nazreen, and she was very patient with us throughout the camp.
( Our name was Kampong, the other group was Istana. Will put the respective cheers at the end of this post later on. Thnks :D)

After a few hours in the stuffy hall, we finally went up to our classrooms to put our bags ( and luggages :O) and leave for ECP. On the bus, me and Yi Xiang sat behind Min Yee and her partner, and teased her all the way to our destination. ( Btw, our destination was a very deserted(wu lu) place). We put our bags somewhere near the meeting point and gathered. We were to build a rocket to launch a rocket(simple). It was " a lot " of fun.

When we got back, we had a shower and changed into comfortable clothes. After we bathed, we went for dinner. ( Not really, we ate on the floor.) After that, we had another debrief and went to sleep.

Second Day

This day was not as worse as the first day. I rose and shined at 5.20 a.m, then went to brush my teeth. After that, we went to the canteen to eat.. NASI LEMAK IN THE MORNING. EWW. After that, we departed to Sentosa. We were given clues(Pictures) and we had to go and find the place. If we found it, we would get 10 pts. We also went to Palawan Beach and found a group of tourists willing to help us. We got majority of our points from them. Thank you, England tourists! Hope you have a good stay at Singapore!

After lunch came a program called "Cultura". Mainly consisting of Indian and Malay dances, it was on the whole not very entertaining. After showering earlier than on the first day, we ate disgusting dinner and went down for campfire. It was really entertaining as there was a lot of entertainment in store for us. After that, we went up to the hall for ANOTHER debrief and went to sleep AGAIN.

Third Day

We did the usual things, brushed our teeth, breakfast, bags up to classroom again. After that, they announced that we were not going to Labrador Park (ARGH!!) Instead, we played the game at the stuffy hall. The game went like this : 6C bomb, 6C bomb, 6C bomb to 6A bomb! Then, 6A would pass the bomb on to another person. Whoever did not respond in time would be disqualified. We were one of the champions that did not get bombed even once but again, no prizes. :(

Then, we built a stupid car out of vanguard sheets, masking tape and raffle string. We 'drove' it as the way the Flintstones did. It was called the F1 Grand Prix, but I don't know why. We lost at the first round, but as they progressed, they decided to call it a day and there was no proper winner.

They announced break camp after lunch at the hall. We went up with our form teacher to the classroom and she gave us some notices and we went off.

All in all, this camp was not very fun, but it taught me the importance of teamwork and working with people you may or may not like.

Special thanks to Coach Jeffrey and Coach Jeff, for organizing this camp for us. This also goes to Coach Nazreen and Coach Shiqin. For the other coaches and teachers, also a big thanks. :D

Also, I need to keep my promise of showing you the cheers. Kampong has 2.

Istana:
Istana Lower GST,
Istana Lower ERP,
Istana Whack,

Kampong:

Week One of School

Hello! Today is Sunday, and I'm glad to say that I survived a whole week of P6! Hectic as it is, soon it will be common and hopefully I will get used to it. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I stayed back until 4 P.M. for Elit ( Literature ). The program is called Windows to Lit, as this is a introduction to the real Literature taught from Secondary One onwards.

A lot of homework given this year... and will not be able to use the comp so often cos' of the workload. Mostly Chinese, and got tuition and all that so wont be so often, plus cca practise.
School is not fun now... learning Algebra for Maths, English is a mix, Higher Chinese : 1.1, 1.2, Chinese only 1.1 . Science revising last year's work.
Done posting, have to go and do work now. Bye!

First day of school was fun... got to school a little late, and went up to the courtyard. P6 Pupils assemble in the courtyard now... not in the BB court anymore. Lucky! BB court squeezes in Pri 3-5 pupils, so somehow i'm glad we did change our seating venue.

Our new form teacher, Mrs Rachel Tan, Took us until recess. She assigned our duties, broke us into our group, and introduced herself and to our other subject teachers names. then she talked to us how hectic this year is gonna be like. Scary.. she told us we are also going to learn Algebra. Cool!

After recess, Mdm Chee came in.(ENGLISH) She was funny and joked around while getting the facts right on whatever she had to say. She gave us a book, Sing to the Dawn the novel, to read for next week's Lit lesson.

First Day of School. A Good Impression.
